Inde : Jaipur capitale du Rajastan

Well, we arrived in India with a special flight company : "cosmic air" if my memorie is good, what a joke... Nepal have the only airport where guardian also smoke in. For the joke in 45 minutes Indian people stole my credit car (and 80 euros) but I realised enough quick to call my bank and block my account. So we arrived in New delhi by air (cause strike didn't allow us to go by bus) spend half a day an took the car to go in Rajastan.

Day 1 : Arrived in Jaipur capital of Rajasthan

Well we arrived late in the city and the local habit that consist in fighting for customer between rickshaw drivers already (in 1 day) make me crazy. We found a small guest house (we manage to train for being "penible" with the manager) and went sleeping. The second day in India we had to adapt to the special way of life and also the weather. The first day was used to walk around without aim.

Let me introduce a new traveller who join us for a while : Audrey Rochette.

So we try to enter in the old town, don't you feel that we are observed ?

By walking in the town we visited a lot of small temple. This is an example of one of them with on the middle circle a small sarkozy punished by shiva (is it shiva ?) !

This is the "boum machine" that do itself the boum needed for the ceremony, progress you make me dreaming...

This is indian typical scene : the stupid holy cow... walking slowly and stand in the reverse sens of the traffic in the middle of the road.

Pigeon squat !!

Typical place.

Real false sadhu that you have to pay if you want to take a photo.

The well knowned indian spices !

Holy architecure of one of the palace...

The gate !!!

The observatory.

Representation of god Hannuman.

Representation of god Ganesh.

And the small family.

We decided to pay a rickshaw to visit the town, but he carry us to a stone seller then to a music seller. Mr tik tik...

To shawl shop...

Then the night came and the Elephant showed us how he is used to urinate free in the street.

But let's look at a better view of him !

Before begin a race !

A rickshaw race !!

After this difficult day, we decided that Audrey had to sleep. C'est pas beautiful ? ;)

Day 2 : Amber fort and the monkey mountain

We wanted to visit some palaces but nothing really decided. So at the early morning we took the bus to go in Amber Fort, the ancient home of the Maharajah. Now it is really touristic and still in renovation. Do not forget the cold water...

Bon, bah là c'est de l'expression artistique de la part de mes deux compères... It is art !

Art feelings called "Escape the fort".

Before arrived in the main square of the fort we met the light technicien whom are in charge of the light.

But they aren't alway very attentive to work and spend time for fun without be disturbing by human specie...

This is the entrance of the Fort.

After crossing this gate we lost in the fort which is very huge.

Very few local people accepted to be snapshoted. Even if they wasn't very very enthousiatic...

We were for them !

The "fighting birds" or "when female don't care when male are whistling the love".

Then let's look to the amazing architecture of the batiment.

On the other mountain are also some fortifications.

Higher and higher...

In the ancient place...

In the tunnels...

The not allowed part...

Really nice...

Others arches...

And others arches...

The pigeons at the window :)

Beautiful marble walls...

We noticed that while the men complained because this of that working not so hard, all the women carried stone or sand.

To renove the fort.

The point view of the fort.

After the fort we decided to go in a city palace, on the road we saw the future hotel in the water (before it was a hindoue temple).

We arrived to city Palace that wasn't so amazing. Lot of tourist, small marionnette show, weapon museum... few things.

And the traditionnal guards.

An expensive door...

After the City Palace we went to the mountain of Monkey by horse.

Let's look the normal traffic scene in India... Fear is taking you...

When we climbed the monkey mountain, a begger ask us for money for showing a snake. But Audrey is affraid of this animals so we didn't gave any money !

At the top, a sun temple, where a dog waited for biting the fu***** monkeys the arround. But I love monkeys...

Also a beautiful view of Jaipur !

A baby monkey that was also afraid of the dog.

And we feed the animals... Take care, the biggest could be agressive and try to stole the bag of food.

On the road the met a wedding horse !

Be prepared for tomorrow, destination is Pushkar the only Brahma venerated town in the world...
